Privacy policy
Last updated 29 September 2026. This policy explains what personal data we handle when you visit this website or contact us, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
This website, lisbonphotographerpro.com, is operated by Lisbon Photographer Pro, a photography service based in Lisbon, Portugal. For any privacy question, email [email protected].
What this website collects
The website itself does not store your personal data. The booking form does not send anything to our servers: it opens your own email app (or WhatsApp) with a message already written, and nothing is sent until you press send there. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
What we collect when you contact or book us
- Your name and contact details (email, phone or WhatsApp number)
- Your session details: date, location, group size and anything you choose to tell us about the occasion
- Payment records for deposits and balances
- The photographs we take during your session
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and plan your session (steps taken at your request before a contract)
- To deliver the service you booked, including your photo gallery (performance of a contract)
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation)
- To show photos from your session in our portfolio — only if you give us your explicit permission, which you can withdraw at any time (consent)
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as Portuguese tax law requires. Your photo gallery stays online for at least 12 months after delivery; we keep an archive copy of your photos for up to 5 years so we can help if you lose your files, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share what is necessary with the services we use to run the business — for example email, messaging, online gallery hosting, payment processing and accounting — and with suppliers you ask us to coordinate with, such as a florist for a proposal.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw any consent you have given. Email us and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
