How we choose your route
We start with three questions: what kind of session (a proposal needs a quiet moment; a family needs space), what time of day (Alfama and the Baixa are best at sunrise, Graça and the coast at sunset) and how much walking suits you. Then we plan a route that flows — usually downhill, with two or three spots close together, so the session is spent taking photos, not getting between them.
Lisbon is compact: most combinations in the centre are a five to fifteen-minute walk apart. Belém is a short tram or taxi ride away, and Sintra and Cascais are day-trip distance by train.
Rainy-day locations
The arcades around Praça do Comércio, covered passages in the Baixa, and the narrow lanes of Alfama all work in light rain — and wet stone reflects the light beautifully. If the forecast is really bad, we move your session to another day.
